Fall Fun

Last Friday night we went to Sammie's first Halloween Party. The "Zoo Boo" at the Detroit Zoo. Samantha was dressed as... a Kangaroo!!! Of course! It was a fun-filled evening with The Hutchison's (my cousin Laura & family), The Lamb's, The King's & The Sterling's. Sam was a good sport considering the event started just before her bedtime. (yes, she has a bedtime now... it's a new thing only a couple of weeks).

I carried Sammie in my "pouch" just like a Momma Kangaroo carrying her lil Joey.

On Saturday we drove out to Armada (about 45 minutes) and went to Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill. It was a great day spent with a dear old friend and her family!

And on Sunday night we got to visit with my Aunt Carol who was in town from California. We had dinner at Fishbone's in Downtown Detroit. It was great to see her, along with my Uncle Dennis, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Laurie, Bill & Bobbie, and my Dad. The food was amazing, and the laughs were big. Again, we were out past lil Sam's bedtime, but she was great from most of the evening, until the very end when she started to get very cranky and over-tired. Luckily, my Aunts were more than happy to take over and watch Sam while we ate!!
