We had an early birthday party with my mom's side of the family last Saturday. Here is the video (the awesome video) that Josh shot, edited, and put to music. We are having another celebration on her "real" birthday with my dad's side of the family. We wish that all of you Iowans, Californians, Floridians, Tenesseans, etc etc could be here to celebrate with us. We love and miss you all. And we can't believe our little girl is turning ONE!

The cake... since you may wonder about the lovely cake that Sam has before her in this video, let me tell you about it ;) I made her an organic, lower sugar carrot cake, with cream cheese frosting cut into the shape of a number 1. Cute.
